Endorsements of CAPE-OPEN technology and of CO-LaN
A number of CAPE organisations, societies, associations and user groups support CO-LaN.
VDI is today the most important technical organisation in Germany with more than 125,000 members.
VDI-GVC is the section of
engineers active in the area of process engineering and chemical engineering.
The IEP (Informatique & Procédés) Group is the French Working Party dedicated to CAPE and common to Société de Chimie Industrielle
(SCI) and Société Française de Génie des Procédés (SFGP).
The European Federation of Chemical Engineering (EFCE) CAPE Working Party acts as a
focal point for discussion on CAPE topics.
EGAS is the European Group of AspenTech Software Users. It defines regularly development priorities for Aspen Engineering Suite
software.
