Project description: D-SPICE as a CAPE-OPEN-compliant Simulator

Kongsberg Oil & Gas Technologies AS (KOGT) is aiming at enhancing its K-Spice dynamic modular simulator with CAPE-OPEN interfaces. First, K-Spice will be able to host CAPE-OPEN compliant units as well as thermodynamic property packages. In addition, it will be possible to plug the complete K-Spice simulator as a unit into some other flowsheet. In order to perform this extension, KOGT has contributed to further developments of the CAPE-OPEN standard, making it possible to use the dynamic modular simulation scheme in CAPE-OPEN-compliant simulation software. KOGT is also active in the HYDRO SIG.
